Pornography

1. Research indicates that porn use can cause sexual dysfunction by numbing the body’s response to normal sexual pleasure (10/20/11)
2. "Catholic teaching on the subject is clear. Use of pornography is a “grave offense.” The Catechism of the Catholic Church states, “Pornography … offends against chastity because it perverts the conjugal act, the intimate giving of spouses to each other. It does grave injury to the dignity of its participants (actors, vendors, the public), since each one becomes an object of base pleasure and illicit profit for others” (2354)." (11/19/11)
