- Free will is like a conscience in that if you have it you can not doubt its existence. (1/30/13)
- If you don't believe in free will than you believe that you have no choice in what you believe, but if you are forced to believe what you believe then why believe it? (7/6/11)
- Biblical proof (12/3/12)
- "the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat" (10/24/12)
- "This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live" Deuteronomy 30:19 (2/14/13)
- Joshua 24:15 New International Version (NIV) "But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (12/3/12)
- Free will versus Predestination
- The history of intellectual disputes are often posed as this versus that. For example nature versus nurture or weight versus particle. Both sides present evidence for their position. History shows that the final outcome is not either one side but both. This is the case for Faith versus predisposition. It is not a more predisposition but both legs and predisposition.there are some things that are pre-destined and there are other things that are of our own free will choose.
